“Something” is Something else! The breakout Star of the second season of Flavor of Love is an internet porn star. Something made headlines when she pooped on herself in the season premiere. I have seen the pictures, and they are disgusting. Something is looking for fame not love, and she is using Flavor Flav and VH1 to further her career.

There’s trouble on the set of the ABC show Grey’s Anatomy. The show is about to enter its second season on a new night, Thursdays. The show had an incredible first season, and it’s been nominated for 11 Emmy Awards. The actors all received huge bonuses for their performances. So what’s the problem? There is a lot of tension between the actors and Grey’s Creator Shonda Rhimes. Rhimes is an African American woman who created the hit show. Sources say she is unbearable to work with. Some of the actors on the show want the freedom to do other projects while they work on Grey’s Anatomy. Rhimes put her foot down: NO! She wants the actors to put their energy into the hit show. Is Rhimes the problem, or are the stars of the show getting big heads? Is it a battle of egos or a problem with taking direction from a sistah?

Janet Jackson is blasting her former in-laws, The Debarges. Janet’s first husband was James Debarge. Earlier this year, family members were making statements claiming that Janet and James had a secret child. Janet says there is no secret child, and she wishes they would stop spreading lies. She says the stories are nonsense. Janet is gearing up for the release of her new album 20 Y.O. next month. She is currently featured in a photo spread for OK magazine.
Tina Brown continues to stretch her fifteen minutes of fame. Tina is the sister of Bobby Brown. She made a ton of money when she sold her story of Whitney Houston’s drug abuse to the tabloids. Whitney has cut off contact with her in-laws as she tries to turn her life around. The Browns need money. Now, Tina is shopping around a reality show for TV. The Brown Family reality show will feature Tina, Tina’s son Shane, who is a rapper, and Bobby Brown.

It’s baby news for Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and longtime love Kim Porter. They already have a nine-year old son Christian. Puffy and Kim are expecting baby number two. They both have children from previous relationships, his son Sean John, and her son Quincy, by Singer Al B. Sure.

The second season of The Tyra Banks Talk Show kicks off September 11th. Nicole Richie will help kick off the second season. She’s also featured in her dad’s new video. Nicole is the star of Lionel’s new video, I Call It Love.

At the movies, it’s Snakes On A Plane starring Samuel L. Jackson. Jackson plays a FBI agent who is flying across the country with a protected witness. An assassin is also on the plane and he wants the witness dead. So, the assassin unleashes hundreds of snakes on an airplane. Kenan Thompson (SNL) and Julianna Margulies (ER) also star.

Are Nia Long and Football Star Reggie Bush dating? The actress is mum about Mr. Bush. Is he the mystery man who got into a scuffle with her baby daddy Massai Dorsey? Bush is a running back with the New Orleans Saints. He’s 6 ft., 21-years old and one of the most exciting offensive players to enter the NFL in years. Last year, he won the Heisman Trophy, and he is 15 years younger than Nia.

Season three of Dancing with the Stars kicks off September 12th on ABC. Some of the dancers this season include Talk Show Host Jerry Springer, Football Great Emmitt Smith, and Vivica A. Fox. Vivica has been preparing for the season most of the year. Vivica won’t talk about her plastic surgery, and she brushes off reports that doing a reality show can hurt her career. Vivica says she is going to use this opportunity to wear some fabulous clothes, make some money and represent for the sistahs.

Speaking of reality shows, Alfonso Ribeiro is joining the cast of Celebrity Duets. Ribeiro is best known for his roles on the TV shows In The House, Silver Spoons and of course as “Carlton” on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Celebrity Duets debuts August 29th on Fox. The show pairs real singing stars with non-singing stars. The real singers participating include Smokey Robinson, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Brian McKnight, Aaron Neville and Dionne Warwick. This should be nice career boost for Ribeiro who is in the midst of a divorce from his wife of four years. He has a three-year old daughter from the union.

Tracee Ellis Ross is featured on the cover of Vibe Vixen magazine. She is gearing up for the 7th season of her hit TV show Girlfriends, which will now air on the new CW network. A lot of people are wondering how the show will go on without girlfriend Jill Marie Jones who played girlfriend “Toni Childs.” Jones left the show after refusing to take a pay cut. She is now pursuing a movie career.

Star Jones Reynolds loses another gig. Reynolds will no longer be the spokesperson for Payless Shoes. The company has decided to go in another direction, minus the celebrity spokespeople.

Quincy Jones has started his modeling career. The super producer is starring in the new ad campaign for Jimmy Choo Shoes with Model Molly Sims.

Filming has started on the holiday movie The Perfect Christmas. The movie stars Queen Latifah, Terrence Howard, Morris Chestnut and Gabrielle Union.

Superbowl XLI (41) is taking place on Sunday, February 4th in Miami. Prince will be the halftime performer.

Alicia Keys plays an assassin in her new movie Smokin’ Aces. The movie opens in theatres next year. Smokin’ Aces also stars Ben Affleck, Common, Andy Garcia, Ray Liotta and Jeremy Piven of Entourage fame.

The Spike Lee HBO Documentary, When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts, will air on HBO August 21st and August 22nd. August 29th marks the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.

Beyonce graces the cover of the September issue of Essence magazine. She will be on a roll for the rest of the year with a new album, B’Day, and a new movie, Dreamgirls. Beyonce will also be gracing the cover of Vogue magazine in December. She will be paying homage to Diana Ross in a photo shoot, entitled Beyonce’s America’s Dreamgirl.

Boyz II Men is hard at work on a new album. Remedy is due out next year.

Actor Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters, Oz) is joining the cast of Desperate Housewives. He’s going to play a Detective investigating a mysterious crime.

Mission Impossible III with Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames and Laurence Fishburne is coming out on DVD October 30th.
