"Betty Crocker" as a person did not exist. However, our sister Marjorie Child Husted used her voice as the voice of Betty Crocker.

THANK YOU, Mary! I have seen on a few chapter websites that "Betty Crocker was a Theta" and it drives me NUTS!

The Kappa Chapter at Kansas University.

I'm struggling to think of a good question, so this is what I've got for now:

On what campus was/is the Theta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta located?

Theta chapter was at Simpson College but it is no longer an active chapter.

This was a good question I had to pull out an old copy of the roster list to find it! :)

Q: Where was HQ located prior to Indianapolis, IN?

ThetaPrincess24 08-20-2006 09:17 AM

The answer is Evanston, IL. I got that from the website. Prior to that (and I didnt know until recently) we were based in Chicago if my memory serves.

So here is a multiple choice question:

Where is Theta colonizing a chapter this fall?

A. John Carroll University

B. Occidental College

C. Quinnipiac University

D. Southern Mississippi

Quinnipiac

What Theta President was also Chair of UNICEF?

P.S. Has anyone ever found Kite Flight? I've been able to track down We Who Wear Kites, but that's it.

Hmm. I dont think I even know the answer to that one! :)

About Kite Flight---I havent been able to find it either. Though I try to do searches for it whenever I can on several websites hoping a copy of it will show up somewhere. It's the only one that I dont have in my "Theta Library."

Okay, here's a hint. She is Canadian and was initiated in 1919.

Adelaide MacDonald Sinclair. I went through almost the entire list of Notable Thetas to get to her. It was nice to see that they've updated it to include the recently elected Thetas!

My question: In addition to Kappa Alpha Theta, Indianapolis is home to the international headquarters of six other NPC members. Name them.

Alpha Sigma Alpha
Alpha Xi Delta
Sigma Kappa
Alpha Chi Omega

Does this depend on region? ie. the San Diego CASA chapter is called Voices for Children (VFC).

KATwoman 03-20-2007 07:57 AM

Well, since the question's been up for awhile...here's the answer.
I got this off the HQ website:

Since 1989, the focus of Kappa Alpha Theta's philanthropic work has been CASA, the Court Appointed Special Advocates program (also known around the country as Guardian Ad Litem and Pro Kids).

New question: Where was the Grand Convention last year?

A pansy or if you see it in color, a gold pansy.

Ok, my turn, what was the first Theta chapter in California? Looking for Greek letters and college name.
