Rush Advice

Well, have to be up front here as I maybe the Old Man in this group.

Advice: While the Sisters are going to want you to talk about yourself, get them to open up themselves as group and as a person. In other words keep your wits about you and your eyes and ears open.

The main group of Sisters you want to met are the younger Sisters rather than the older ones. The younger ones are the one's you will be seeing more of and spending more time with.

Be yourself, not what you think the Sisters are or what they are looking for.

And keep the above in mine In Re. school food and guys!!!!

Advice-Katrina

As posted by other; not something to be directly brought up you but may be brought up by others. Do not play it; answer politly and move on. If you make a deal out of it, Katrina becomes the Rushee not you.

And as another poster brought up, others have suffered from that event or any number of others-large and small. I have learned that there is no real 6 degrees of seperation from hurt and tragety.
Jon-a proud NY'er.

In terms of rush, your GPA should always be higher than the highest sorority GPA requirement. For example, if the sorority GPA requirements are:

ABC sorority -2.75
DEF sorority - 2.8
FGH sorority- 3.0

FGH has the highest, so your GPA should be higher than that.

I agree with that, but I also think it's relative to the GPAs of the other PNMs. I would say that, ideally, your GPA would be in the top 50% of all the PNMs. If all the PNMs going through have above a 3.2, then having a 3.19 isn't ideal either. There's no way to give a set number.
