Napoleon Dynamite

I was sitting there, the entire movie thinking "OK, this has the potential to get funny ANY minute now. Anytime there just going to throw a zinger out there and it will be hilarious". And then all of the sudden, the credits start rolling and I think "What just happened here?"

I 150% agree with you. I hated the movie...

On another note, Resident Evil is on my list. Wish I could get back the time and money on that movie...I would rather have been sleeping.

Brokeback Mountain...can't understand anything Heath Ledger says. Absolutely most over-hyped movie in recent memory.

Kung Pow
Pooty Tang
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

I want the approximately 30 minutes worth of Napoleon Dynamite ads that I had to see in movie previews and tv ads. I wasn't stupid enough to watch the thing.

My vote goes to another Will Ferrell movie:
Anchorman
On the advice of my brother my boyfriend & I watched it - at least the first 30 mins. I couldn't take anymore after that.

I haven't seen Kicking & Screeming yet but it's on HBO - I'll see how long I can last.

Yes, I knew it was a made for TV movie. Yes, I knew Moira Kelly & DB Sweeney weren't in it.

It was like a train wreck, I didn't want to watch but I had to.

I will admit that I watched it but I kept waiting for it to get good. Here her daughter was complaining about all the same things that the parents went through when they started skating together and the "parents" didn't even THINK of mentioning their experiences to their super spoiled and super bratty daughter.

Plus, it was the exact same storyline as the cutting edge. Girl need partner. Boy wants to skate. Boy and girl become partners. Boy and girl pretend to "hate" each other but are secretely falling in love. Boy and girl win nationals. Boy and girl go to the Olympics. Boy confesses to girl that he loves her. Boy and girl skate an "amazing" performance. Girl confesses her love. The end.

There was your synapsis of The Cutting Edge 2

OMG I hated Brokeback Mountain. I watched like 45 minutes hoping it would get good. The movie was just soooooooo slow. Plus, it really wasn't, at least to me, that big of a deal that these two men were "falling for each other". They had no committments (ie. no wives). I was like "big woop de damn doo, where's the conflict. bring in the wives".

It was soooo weird. The boy and I watched it, and were like, this is the movie that everyone's been talking about?!

Cold Mountain

I made my exboyfriend see it over Big Fish. We left the theater and I apologized. He told me that if we ever got married and lived to be 90, I would still never get to pick another movie. Good thing I don't need to worry about that.

Oldies but Baddies:mad:

Stop or My Mom Will Shoot! (Sylvester Stallone and Estelle Getty)
Fantasia (no dialogue = nap time)

Recent Vintage

Zorro II
Yours Mine and Ours

I'm sure I'll think of others!

I can deflect any backlash that otherwise might be directed at you:

"Forrest Gump": Yes, I am the one person in America who absolutely hated this movie.

"The Polar Express": The "animation" was hyper-annoying and the charm of the book was obliterated.

Anything with Jim Carrey: When he's doing comedy, he's just way too over the top; when he's doing drama, he's just plain annoying.

nope, there's another one - ex Mr 33 detests this movie, mainly for the simplistic moralism. OMG JENNAY HAD SEX SO SHE GOT AIDS.

KSUViolet06 05-15-2006 11:12 AM

I hated The Incredible Hulk.

Big Fish makes my list! And that horrible one with Jane Fonda as J-Lo's mother in law! And, Soul Survivors - turned that one off and watched Law & Order rerun.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind....I was on a flight to Hawaii and I absolutely could not focus on what was going on in that movie....HATED IT!
