YESS, I couldnt agree more!

People that want to be your "best friend" all of sudden after you crossed are NOT really your friends.

The real work begins after you crossed

If you joined a Greek Organization for popularity, you are in for a RUDE awakening

If you "skated" to get in, it will eventually tell on you.

Blood, Sweat and Tears was literal.

Thats it for now. Great thread!

The one who says they know everything about an org, usually doesn't know squat.

True sisterhood is shown within and across org. lines

Learning is lifelong

The hard part comes after you cross

Again, not everyone who is a friend makes a good soror.

Decisions will be made beyond your control, shut up and support.

Love deepens with time

After you cross and your friends say "You've Changed!"...9 times out of 10...they changed..you didn't!

Being greek helps you find out who your TRUE friends really are!

Chance made us sisters...love made us friends!;)

Every Org has some dirt in their house, and best believe someone is looking for it..and more times than not..they aren't even greek!

Most of the greek stereotypes are made up by non-greeks!

The real work starts the moment you cross the sands...so wipe off your feet and get to work!

Some people lose their identity, remember you are who YOU are...the organization shouldn't make you...you help make the org!

More to come as I sit and reflect.....Great Thread!!:D

Being GREEK is like being in a family:

Unfortunately, you do not get to pick who your family is.

E'erbody would trade one or two members if you could.

You still deal wit' em cause they are your family.

You never put the family's dirty laundry out in public.

Don't worry about what another family does down the street, you just make sure you and your family do what they are supposed to be doing.

EVERYONE has SOMETHING to contribute to the organization

Do YOU!

Everything happens for a reason

Frat I can't always say that I've never seen dirty laundry aired out publicly by members of the same family. Sad but true. And yes that includes the Kappa family. I really wish more bruhs would understand that concept.

If you serve your respective organization well, it's VERY HARD work and VERY expensive.

kitten03 04-20-2006 09:00 PM

This is a lifetime commitment of your time, skills and financial resources.

Learn to listen (what I dont know everything :D )

JAPAN of 2005 04-30-2006 07:31 PM

"Perhaps..."

You don't have to be my bruh, to be my brother

Do 'nothing' and the criticism will stop.

10% of the people will end up doing 90% of the work...

A man at his best (wearing letters or not) can't be too careful.

To Be Discreet is to be Greek.

Damn...this is really a good one! Some of us don't even know the meaning of the word until we are Greek.
