Yes. And I may be wrong, but my understanding is that each NIC fraternity owes dues based on a *per member* number (of their fraternity) and not a flat rate. Thus, so called "smaller" inter/national fraternities would not pay as much as "larger" ones.

Which would explain why - due to the total number of members - Phi Mu Alpha's dues would be so high "for the whole" fraternity.

Thanks for that clarification.

hmmm...

Not trying to sound like i'm complaining - just making conversation...

My point is, it's not just us... it's the whole NIC and the whole Panhellenic (sororities)...

My point was that some people can't even learn the GREEK ALPHABET...

What's the point of being Greek then? How do you recognize other houses?

It's just getting overboard...

There are laws and often campus regulations. People have gone to jail.

This is just a thought: folks have to follow the rules and regulations set up by their organization. If your org decides that Act X is hazing and prohibits it, then you cannot and should not do it. Your orgs rules have no bearing on anyone else.

If Latino orgs (I'm only mentioning them because you did) decide that some acts are ok, then why should they be concerned that your org doesn't? Worry about following the rules of your org, and let other folks worry about the rules of theirs.
