Some Philly fans are hoping for TO to become the next Wendel Davis of Michael Irvin for those in the know.:o

Vinatieri signs with the Colts. This is crazy on a number of levels.

Would the pats get Vanderjagt as a replacement? That would be funny.

Re: Re: Terrell Eldorado Owens

Bledsoe is a smart QB who can still throw the football damn well. They will do fine. And hes a slow white guy, so TO won't have to worry about him trying to run alot. From what I hear in Dallas.....Parcelss and TO are already scheduled to have meetings this week and next week to discuss behavior and what Ole Tuna expects out of TO. I think they will get along good, surely TO isn't dumb enough to think that Parcells will take any of his shit.

Apparently, the incident when the Niners were playing Dallas (T.O. celebrating on the star on Dallas' field) put T.O. in Jerry's mind permanently. I'm interested to see how he and Parcells get along, although Bill has a good history with guys with selfish reps (Terry Glenn, Keyshawn Johnson).

I'm with you though on the Bledsoe thing - I wonder how long it will take before the two of them have words.

Apparently they were talking with Paul Edinger's agent yesterday. The big question now is, what are they doing to do with their $20 million under the cap. I assume part of it would be an extension for Seymour, but there's a question of whether they'd make a big free agent signing.

I'm kinda sad about this.

I honestly didn't think he'd leave. He has endorsement deals here in New England, and I just assumed the Pats would offer him a comparable salary. I guess either something happened, or he wanted to go indoors for the rest of his career.

So the NFL Draft is this weekend - who do you think your team will get?

With the Giants picking up Arrington this past week, I think they're going to go for a CB in the first round. Maybe the guy from Virginia Tech (Jimmy Anderson) if he falls their way. After that, they need to beef up the WR spot and OL, and maybe pick up another linebacker later in the draft.

The Eagles are rumored to go with the d-line. Possible move up to get Ngata. some think they will draft a wr first round but I don't see it.

Ksigkid, what do you think of the arrington signing? I think its a good move for the Giants personally and the money isn't all that bad unless he reaches all of his performance bonus money.

I think it's a very good signing. Like you said, the money isn't all that bad, and he's only 27. They needed a young, athletic starting linebacker, and I think he really fits that role. All in all, I'm happy they made the move.

Brett Favre is definitely coming back for one more year.

My team will take "the best players available" and while that sounds hokey the philosophy got them Tatupu last year....

They also really needed to add to their linebacking core last year; I think that was more the reason why they added Tatupu. (Nothing against Niko Koutouvides, who went to my senior prom with one of my friends.)

It is interesting though, to realize that you can't really believe anything coming from the teams prior to the draft.

Seattle got two good pick ups. Burleson and Petterson. Adding Peterson to that fast LB corp makes them even more dangerous. And although Burleson sucked last year (injuries), he is still very speedy and dangerous. He'll definately be on my fantasy team next year.

MI don't think its hokey. Most average to decent teams draft for the best available or fill a need that they see a year or two down the road, right? Filling by need sometimes has teams reaching for players too early like the cowboys when they took Quincy Carter.
