My Gayle is Shawna. We met in 2001 when she transferred to Le Moyne to be near her now ex-boyfriend. In a way, we were kind of forced to meet because her ex-boyfriend and my ex-boyfriend were best friends.

The scary thing is that everyone thinks we are related. In fact, a lady in a nail salon once told us we were liars when we said we weren't related.

We have so much in common, yet we are so different. That's what I love about her. No matter what I tell her she NEVER looks down on me, and always has the best advice, plus a bible verse or two.

Since we graduated in '03, we haven't seen each other that much, but when we do we pick right up where we left off. I was so happy when she called me last year to tell me that she was getting married and wanted ME to be her MoH.

Although we haven't known each other that long, I couldn't imagine life without her. Love Ya, chica!!:D

My bestfriend is Nita. We've known each other since 3rd grade, but we've been best friends since we were 18 (14 years ago). We are opposites; she says I think too much with my head (I'm the logical one), but she thinks too much with her heart (the emotional one). We lead very different lives, but we have lots of life experiences in common. I know that I can take ANYTHING to her and she understands. She knows me inside and OUT!!!! I feel comfortable telling her any and everything. She has become more like a sister to me than a friend. I'm the godmother to her children. That's my GIRL!!!!! We talk about 4 or 5 times a day (it's kinda sickening). She is the only person that I talk to when I'm feeling anti-social. She's moving out of state and even though we already live in different cities, I'm gonna miss her a lot!!

My Gayle is L. We've been best friends since fifth grade and later became sorority sisters. Even though we live a couple of hundred miles away when we visit its like yesterday. My mom likes to say that when we get together its like two little old ladies with a lot to talk about.

My Gayle is RCR. I've known her since we were in the 3rd grade. After graduating from middle school together, we went to different highschools and colleges but we've kept in touch over the years. We've had our ups and down but through it all we've maintained our friendship! :)
