Funny, that was her response to Korman when he told her he had already gotten her stationary and business cards.

I hadn't heard that, although that could partly explain her response.

If she was upset, well, that would be understandable. But you really have to watch what you say to people.

From what I read, he offered one salary at the initial interview. At the second interview, he realized that he couldn't have paid her that much and lowered the salary by $5,000. She still said that was ok. Than after that she decided she couldn't live off of that.

eta: Here's what was said in the Globe's article:
