I love Netflix! I usually subscribe for a few months at a time and then cancel it to focus on watching my own DVDs.

I miss my Netflix. :( I had to suspend my account for a month until I get settled into my new apartment here in Texas.

I had the 3-DVD unlimited deal too and I loved it. I had a constant rotation of movies. And hey, I got a thrill out of going to the mailbox every other day!

IlovemyAKA please update on that Roku player! I'm very interested in buying one myself too. Where did you order yours from?

I have since switched to Blockbuster online and LOVE it!!! You can even do in-store exchanges a few times a month if you can't wait for your movie.

We have Blockbuster online too, and have unlimited in in-store exchanges. That's key when you have kids -- return the movie mom and dad watched to get something the kids want to watch.

I love it! I'm in TX, too. I just moved to Houston recently. My apartment complex only offers TVMax which is garbage, & I have too many trees for a satellite signal. The Roku box is awesome because I have things to watch between dvds. Unfortunately, only about 10% of Netflix's library is available for instant streaming which includes a lot of television shows & older movies. They're trying to increase the instant viewing (what you can watch with the box) but new releases have a lot of copyright issues. You get the box from Roku.com. It's a one time price of $99 plus tax. I'd advise you to check what's available for instant viewing to see if it's stuff you like. My internet is 6mbs for $35 a month w/ at&t so it's all a good deal for me. Let me know if you have more questions...

ETA: shows/movies stream directly to the box via your internet connection (wired or wireless). You don't have to download or store anything & your computer can be off or is available for use at the same time.
