I believe Affinity Marketing helps put it together and those orgs. get a percentage of the sales or something like that based on how many of their members participate in it.

I've been on the Rotterdam (not this one, but its namesake predecessor ship). Its definately for older alums. Anything on the Holland-America line is for the older crowd. Very nice ships, elegant and such. How cruising was 60 years ago. Its the line you go on with your grandparents if you want to take them on a family trip.

I remember getting an email about this from our Executive Office last year. A fellow organization volunteer asked me if I wanted to go with her but I already had plans to go to Oktoberfest that month. I would have considered it if a)there were other people besides her going that I knew and b)a younger crowd was guaranteed.
