So mad that I've been away and have missed this!

KLPDaisy, I hope you are doing okay. We here on GC are thinking about you and are sending thoughts your way!

Mahsa will most likely be having sugery tonight. They found stones in her gallbladder. She seems to be in good spirts, so that's a good sign. I'm waiting for her to call me back.

KLPDaisy, I hope you have a speedy recovery. :)

ok so i went to see masha in the hospital today and when i left she was going down to see the anesthesiologist (spelling anyone??) and to talk to the surgeon about the surgery. im pretty sure shes going to have it up here though and shes definetely out of it if she did have it. the proceduere is pretty quick and doesnt leave many scars. its called laparoscopy (i think thats how you spell it) and so they make a few incisions to remove what they need to instead of making a huge incision which takes much longer to heal. the nurse said that she should be eating ice chips and juice and stuff after, and then if she does ok with that then theyll gradually move her to more foods to make sure she can digest and keep the food down ok. ill be talking to her in the morning (and definetely visiting her) to see what ended up happening and to make sure shes ok. her boyfriend is coming up too so shell be occupied all day. but ill let her know that everyone is thinking of her and she should be back to good again in a couple days and back on here posting!! thanks to everyone for their concern!!

I'm glad you were able to go see her. I wish I was closer so I could go. Send her all our love and well wishes, I'll be calling her at some point tomorrow also.

Hey guys I'm back!!!! I was released this morning and am now organless and recovering at home. The doctor said I'd probably be out for 7-10 days. I'm in a bit of pain, but I can finally eat!!!! Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers.

masha--so when you called me you sounded soooo much better!! but i couldnt hear after a lil bit cause your phone kept cutting out so try to get in touch with me sometime this weekend and let me know when youre coming back to school!! ihop all you can eat pancakes here we come!! i told you wed go as soon as you got back!! love ya!!
