I co-sign. My children will have a choice. To follow mommy and daddy or move out when they're six.:D

My big sister was a Zeta before me....
So the answer to your question is that it depends on the relationship.
If the siblings are close and/or influential, there may be an expectation or at least a strong desire there.
Personally, I couldn't imagine being in a different sorority than my sister.

My older brother wanted to be an Omega. He never did it for whatever reason but when I became a Nupe, or when I was "becoming" a Nupe, he made his feelings on my frat clear. He hates us. LOL! I think one of my frat stole a girlfriend of his or whatever, but he won't confirm that. :D My little brother on the other hand has already said that Kappa is the only way he would go.

Everyone is an individual. Because of that, family should be able to withstand that type of situation. Tradition aside, ultimately it does not matter since we ALL should be in this to better our community and ourselves.

Having said that, my younger brother and I were LB's on tha same Kappa Line and would not dare come home as anything else but a Mighty NUPE !!

Pops would have a fit !!! He is an old school Kappa from the 70's and would straight trip!!

:)
