Go to their website and type Alumnae initiation in the search engine. It's not that hard and at least 10 documents came up. I am not going to read them all so I don't know exactly what they say.

All NPC groups, including Delta Phi Epsilon, affiliate women who are undergraduates at four year accredited institutions where a chapter exists. "Graduate membership" is not a status. Alumni Initiation is covered elsewhere in other forums on GC extensively.

I think she is referring to being a graduate student and joining a chapter as an active member.

Phi Sigma Sigma offers active membership to graduate students who would go through regular formal recruitment/COB and affiliate with the chapter as an undergraduate would.

The practice really depends on the chapter/campus. The chapter I am alumnae of initiated a graduate student a year or so ago - I think its a great way of spreading the greek love around...

BUT...

Remember that graduate school can be difficult and you dont want to spread yourself too thin!! Sorority membership can take up A LOT of time! If you would join a chapter as a graduate student, make sure the chapter knows that you are a grad student and make sure that time/money commitments are going to be okay!

:)

Good luck!
