Because we can find plenty of people who are nice guys and who deserve a bid. That's not hard, there's plenty of people like that. The best way to find the pledges who will best represent your fraternity is to find those which exude class. AF does not exude class for the most part, and neither does AE especially. Certainly not Hollister, but I am guilty of owning a few myself.

Okay, this whole big concern about what's "fratty" and what isn't is really gay. Even the word "fratty" is gay. The popped collar was gay back in the 80's and it's even gayer now.

wow, our Frat seriously has a wide variety of what bros wear. We wear pastels, letters t-shirts, jeans, polos, suits, all at the same party, this group dressing just sounds too cookie cutter.

I'm too old for guys who always wear stuff from AE and A+F, but guys who wear Express for Men makes my heart melt. :p Personally, I like "pretty boys".

A man who is a gentleman, "exudes class" in how he carries himself, his conversation and his humor - everything he does, and he has a moose in the corner of this shirt...absolutely no reason to cut someone. Sounds like the typical stereotype of "Frat guys are assholes".

Oh and also - while most frat guys are getting smashed on a Friday and Saturday night, drunk and inhibited, come back to me with your "class" argument. The brand of clothing they wear will be the farthest thing on my mind. Also you shouldn't be talking smack about Arizona - we're no less "masculine" than any other school, just because we are on the west coast and have more fun than the east coast boys says nothing about our masculinity or "class level".

Last time I looked at an atlas, Arizona was not on either coast but was a flyover state in the desert.:D

Ah, yes. I'll share a sad commentary. I was in a Children's Place shopping for my kids the other night...got to talking w/the cashier about retail and blahblahblah, and mentioned my old days as a Structure manager. She said "What's 'Structure?'" Has it been that long since the name changed???
