The Casual Corner/Petite Sophisticate that was here has been closed for almost a year. Sometimes they had some nice stuff. I like Ann Taylor Loft better.

Is the business is totally closing?

I hadn't even heard it was closing until I saw this thread. The few times I was in there I never saw anything I liked. I did, however, always want to try on the petite pants....and see how short they were (I'm on the tall side).

I have a few plain sweaters from CC that I wear to work. Not too much you can do to screw up a solid color sweater.

i'm actually wearing a casual corner annex dress shirt, the wrinkle free kind. now, if it would just get rid of the fuzz from the sweater i was wearing...

i've seen cute stuff there before, but this is the only thing i own and it was a gift. when i went in during the holidays, they had NASTY stuff...it was like they were selling stuff from the last 20 years. There was some seriously 80's stuff that has not come back into style.

i very MUCH LOVE Ann Taylor Loft. I swear, most days, i could go in there and easily spend $500 on stuff. And i'm excited they finally built one near me. oddly enough (just because it's been mentioned here), it's near a Talbots. I've never been in...

From what I've read, Casual Corner Group is completely being liquidated. They were bought this summer by Gordon Brothers, which buys distressed retailers and liquidates them.
