The Arizona folks finally updated the convention site, www.arizonagammaphibeta.org
There is quite a bit more information now.

I'm not sure who it gets mailed to but I got the official Call to Convention in the mail.

I'm doing the part time registration and will have free time if anyone else goes and wants to get together while there.

I may even need a room mate, not sure.........

Airfare is booked. Now I just have to send in the registration and get our delegate situation finalized so I know if I need to look for a room mate.

Is anyone else getting excited for convention????

Early bird (cheaper) registration is due May 1 too if any of you are going.

I think I am pretty much set. Have to try on some of the clothes though to see if things still fit.........lol

Way too much money for my grad student blood. :(

Hello everyone,

I'm going to convention in Phoenix and I'm looking for a roommate. A double room for all four nights costs about $490. Anyone want to go to Phoenix and share a room/split the cost? Let me know - I promise, I'm fun to live with.

There's a few people looking for room mates on the Gamma Phi website too. That's where I found mine.

From experience, rooming with women from other areas is a blast.

The Arizona Biltmore is absolutely gorgeous!!!!


Being an Arizona native, here are some hints for people on the east coast...



Bring lots of sunblock and where it whenever you are outside. :D
Drink lots and lots of water.


Then just have fun!!!!!!!!!!!




Just a funny thing. Our convention was here last year and all the east coast girls, especially the ones from Florida, North & South Carolina, the states full of humidity, were absolutely thrilled that their hair wasn't frizzy here. LOL. So be happy about that! :D

Of course, there are only 3 of us going.

Convention was a lot of fun. Especially since I didn't HAVE to do much.

For those who want to know, 2008 will be in Cincinnati. It will be my 5th and will also mark my 20th anniversary in Gamma Phi Beta. :D
