I have a lovely collection of pint glasses (they have to have either the bar or the beer imprinted on them). And once I took one of those flashing construction lights. I wanted to get the entire barricade, but it didn't fit in my car.

My friends and I had a collection going in college of pilsners we stole from bars.

The best is when we went to a local Chinese restaurant and stole not only the teacups but the tea kettle as well. (or whatever that thing is called that holds all the tea on the table) My friend had an oversized bag with her and it was an impulse decisions. "Wouldn't it be cool if we stole these?"..... So we did. She still has it.

How about traffic/street signs? I'm shocked no one has mentioned that yet.

I stole someone's cell phone from a bar. I didn't remember I had done so until my bag started ringing. It was the owner wondering where it was. I gave it to my friend who returned it to him.

My sister was busted trying to steal a lantern from a bar. She was embarrassed. The guy was nice and told her where she could buy one.

I personally have never stolen signage (although I have painted on it....I think I've told that story before in another post). I do have a friend that had a collection of Deer Crossing and street name signs. Never stole Stop or Yield signs. That would be cruel.

After reading this thread, I've suddenly got the urge to go steal someone's hubcaps.

Do other guys' girlfriends count?

we stole the RESERVED sign from our table at one of the clubs out here .....
my big has this purse thats like rectangular and long - and we always shove glasses and shot glasses into it... and one night we walked off with 4 shot glasses and 2 cups, which are now sitting on her wet bar in her dining room :rolleyes:

Worst ever was a parking meter

The Phi Taus from my school stole the street sign for "brotherhood way" which is a street by our school.


Also I helped to steal a HUUUUGGGEE (fake) chocolate bar which was a christmas decoration on the big tree at Ghiradelli Square a couple years ago... gee.. wonder why they start decorating so much further up the tree now ??

I stole some french fries at the bar. Also, ketchup. I actually walked out with a 48oz mug one time. I wonder what happened to that mug.
