She is also a lesbian.

This actually doesn't work for the "harry and sally" situation, because I'm like 110% sure that you want to hook up w/ her and another girl, or at least watch, or at the VERY least videotape and profit

well i went ahead and replied and just let him know what's been happening in my life for the last couple of years.

i actually got a reply - and to be honest i wasn't sure that i would. apparently he's still in the AF and looking to get out soon, he's engaged and thinking about moving back home. and then he talked for awhile about friends not having time for him when he goes home, everybody changing and moving away.

it is all a bit surreal. i really enjoyed my time in that relationship, and i don't harbor any ill feelings. i am just still not really sure why he wants to talk to me.

Sounds to me like he has a lot of major life changes happening now and in the near future, and you are someone in his past that is familiar and "comfortable." Maybe this is his small way of trying to reconnect to a time when things seemed simpler and more carefree.

(And PS--non WMD photos of you exist?!?! ;))

I agree. Have you read High Fidelity? He's going through his "what does it all mean?" stage.
