That's one of my favorites, too. :) I can't believe how expensive it is here in the States, but hey, at least the bottles are refillable.

Certain products from "Dessert Beauty" (the body sprays taste good, but the "powdered sugars" taste like SACCHRIN!

FAB*SpiceySpice 12-12-2005 05:54 PM

Oh, man, if you love it as much as I, you would love a trip to one of their spas. Mom got me booked for my birthday two years ago, and it changed my life. Seriously, my skin changed that much.
They have spas? Where are they located? Aww man, Murad is the only thing that has worked with my skin....but it does cost too much to keep using it!! Darn

K-Pak IS expenisive! And since I got a perm, the guy recommended I use it, but geez, at those prices, ummm NO! lol

Well, they have a spa, in LA. I went here.

But they have certain liscensed salons/spas that can perform some of their services. I thought that they had multiple spas, however, with the liscensing and training they provide, I'm certain that the salon/spa will have much of the same treatments as the official spa.

On the site, you can search for a liscenced salon/spa in your area. Murad's search site.

It does sting a bit but, in my book, if it doesn't hurt, it ain't working!

I was helping a friend look for a gift for his new GF & suggested gift sets from Sephora. I sent him a link for BeneFit & he said "you girls spend $50 on lotions?!" to which I replied "it's 2 products!!"

I am now off his gift advice asking list!

If you live around a Sally's you can get a knock off version of K-Pak that works just the same.

Wasn't K-Pak the movie with Kevin Spacey?

ETA: I can get serious raccoon eyes if I don't get enough sleep. This is literally the first product that has ever help solve that predicament!

I keep seeing this stuff on pop up ads. I have dark circles under my eyes even when I am not sleepy just because I am so pale. So does this stuff remove those dark circles? I cannot find the right makeup and coverup to do that.

SissyC0109 12-13-2005 03:26 PM

Yeah, I'd pay any amount of money for something that really covered up the dark circles under my eyes!

Note to self: Go to Sephora for stuff that stings lips. :)

Ooh, has anyone tried any of the 'Jonathan' products like "Dirt"?
I might pick that up at Sephora too.

That's the weird thing - it's not a cover up! It's a clear liquid that you put on in the morning & evening, and doesn't sting or hurt your eyes (my eyes are VERY sensitive!). I've used it for about 2-3 weeks, and the circles are leaving, and the skin is more natural looking - not all cakey like a cover stick would be!

I put it on once my face is washed in the morning, then my eye makeup, then my foundation - which I slightly "feather" up into the eye area - and I am getting a ton of compliments on how much more "relaxed" I look! Relaxed! I'm stressed to the max!! But you'd never know it from my eyes now. :D

I got a fancy colander at Home Depot, but my pasta looks great now.

I use New Complexion Concealer by Revlon & it works wonders. I cried when I couldn't find more in the store but it looks like (from their web site) that its still a current product. I'm going to stock up on this stuff, especially considering how inexpensive it is in comparison to most beauty products.
