I have a friend from school who is named Baylor. It was really funny.....I always teased him about it.

I would probably name the child, boy or girl, "Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University" - although I wish there were some universally accepted way to shorten that. Maybe "Vaj"?

I kid you not. There is an old Baton Rouge family where the children are named after major universities. Their parents thought it would fun because their names were Stanford and Loyola. The “kids” are in their 50s and 60s now.
Boys: Stanford, Jr. Harvard Duke (whose twin is T’lane) Princeton Cornell Girls: Auburn T’lane (Tulane) |
