And why do people listen to weirdo's like this when it comes to political or international issues.

They can't even control their own freaking lives. There is no way in hell they should be allowed to have their say in larger issues.

I would be happy to try to comfort her. I'm sure Mrs. DA would understand.

How is the woman in this case a homewrecker? She didn't do anything wrong, Its Brad that cheated right?

I feel awful for her, too.

Regardless of how many charitable projects she's involved with, I still think Angelina Jolie is nothing but a trashy homewrecker.

James - I say this in a most completely un-sexist remark way, but I think that this is something that only other women could understand. She knew what she was doing, and she knew why she was doing it. Some women just have to have the power to show other women that they can have whatever they want - regardless of who the guy goes home to at night.

Trust me - I know you girls *KNOW* what I am talking about... ;)

I personally think that he is crazy and think this is a very rational move, you know? I think that it is a little unfair and he is only trying to get back at Jennifer for dating someone else...he wanted to steal the spotlight from here...what a pig!

Not that this thread is about the Aniston/Pitt breakup but since it was mentioned...

I personally feel that since we don't know the specifics of why they broke up (just each others side and "close friends" sides), both are probably at fault in some way, shape or form.

As for Angelina. Every article I have ever read from her, even years ago, she has stated outright that she doesn't condone extra-marital affairs because her father had one and it ruined her parents marriage (and now she doens't even have a relationship with her father). So I don't believe she had an affair.

Now, it's not to say that she didn't flirt with Brad and that Brad didn't flirt back, which I believe is fact.

I just personally don't believe that they "did anything" until after Brad and Jen announced the split.

I believe Brad fell for Angie. I believe that was probably part of the reason Jen filed for divorce. I just don't believe either he or Jen had an affair.

In the current Life & Style they printed a copy of the court records (which are public) requesting that the kids names be changed from "Jolie" to "Jolie-Pitt".

I think that people sometimes don't realize that you can have emotional affairs in addition to physical affairs.

I also think that everything you just described is a symptom of an emotional affair. More often then not, people get wrapped up in the "I didn't do anything wrong because there wasn't any physical contact." argument, which is crap.

Oh, and I agree w/ pretty much everything you said. :)

You, sir, are a gentleman! Go give that poor girl the comfort she so needs!!

Seriously, I'm beginning to think that anyone in the public eye should not be allowed to reproduce or adopt any children. It's like watching a manual for dysfunction being written before your eyes!!

I find that the only person who is upset at an emotional affair is the other partner . . . meaning I know very few people that will deliberately not allow one to develop.

Brad gave an interview back when Fight Club came out in which he said (I'm paraphrasing) that he didn't think you could be with one person for the rest of your life, that you were just with them till it stopped working. When asked how Jen felt about that opinion, he said she felt the same way.

Not a bad theory, the issue is when one partner thinks it has stopped working and the other doesn't.

Not necessarily. I think that the person who is having the emotional affair can feel guilty about it, or become so wrapped up in it that they want it to progress further, perhaps to the point where they believe they are destined to be with this new person.

I don't think it's something you set out to do.
