I say this because so many women can't afford to go straight to a 4 year university and do the community college route. So by the time their at a college they are juniors and let's face it juniors don't rank very high when it comes to formal. I wish that would change. But I realize something like that will just take time and persistance of members.
That's the culture of the school. It has nothing to do with NPC.

Not going to name names though.

hahah. I was thinking the same thing too. Interesting how we are all on the same page with this one. You've heard the joke, right? What do you call three of their members in a phone booth? A chapter. bwahahah.

I'm thinking it would be a bad idea anyway. I can see people using CC for the sole purpose of initiating into a sorority/fraternity that's top-tier at their school of choice then transfering a semester later. In that case it would definately overload GLO's with transfers that they don't have space for.

Good point. I really hope I never see an NPC colonize at a community college...but the student population and culture at the community colleges I am familiar with are way different than 4-year universities that I'm not sure it would work anyway.

I don't think it would happen. The turnover rate at community colleges is too high to establish any sort of stability for a chapter. Community college culture is different too. The students there usually chose the school either to save money or save time in getting their degree. They aren't particularly interested in getting involved.

APO used to have chapters at several community colleges. (here's the list of all the chapters that ever existed) but none of them are active anymore.

I'm surprised some of the larger community colleges don't have their own local GLOs.

I don't want any dumbass community college students in my fraternity!
