For the record, I was an IT3 (E-4) onboard the USS Rainier AOE-7 stationed out of Bremerton, WA from 1999-2003. Ship decommissioned 2 weeks after I separated and is now a part of the Military Sealift Command. Went to Alpha Xi Delta's national convention over the summer and got to meet a fellow sister - Rear Admiral Mimi Drew. It was great....except for the fact that now in our chapter scrapbook there's a picture of me with her and my face is red from having been crying. Oh boy!:( |
