Neil Armstrong took Sam Alito to the moon in the pocket of his space suit.

I heard he joined on one campus but then joined another fraternity on another campus. And his ritual is in the Library of Congress.

Actually it was because she didn't like fat-circling. ;)

I can't even locate a Greek Life segment at Princeton's website. :(

So, serious question...

Can you become a member of Skull and Bones if you are in Yale Law School and weren't an undergrad there?

We all know of several Skull and Bones members, including the one who nominated Alito to the Court.

I could be wrong, but I think only juniors can be initiated into Skull and Bones.

I think so, too, but am not sure.

It isn't recognized, the eating clubs are much more popular. There's a few threads on this if you do a search,

According to some law blogs, not only did Alito never join a fraternity, but he did not join an eating club, either. Instead, he was "independent," and ate in a university dining hall aimed at independent upperclassmen. At that time, even more than now, choosing not to join an eating club was unusual and a deliberate statement that you did not want to swim in the social mainstream. (Something like 85% of the students joined.)

Well, In either case He is Out! Not a joiner!:)

Still havent figured out what the hell He Stands for:rolleyes:

hendrixski 12-09-2005 06:34 PM

we can figure this out

yeah. They don't have fraternities at Yale and Princeton. I know that it would be highly unlikely that Bush would nominate someone not in his inner circle, or someone not a Bonesman.

If anyone can get back to me about Alito and Skull and Bones that would be great.... Like, is there a listing anywhere of all members of Skull and Bones? It would be the who'se who of world affairs.

P.S. Skull and Bones is by all means, a fraternity, they just have a cooler name than some other houses out there.
