The big 5 accounting firms:
Pricewaterhouse Coopers
KPMG
Ernst & Young
Deloitte & Touche
Arthur Andersen

I thought Lifesaver was referring to the 'big 5', as in TKE, SPE and PKA...etc. You know, the groups that are always trying to be 'biggest in chapter size, and most initiated, and most chapters, and most alumni....etc."

Maybe you're right...it was late and all I saw was "CEO" and "Big 5". I have a friend who worked for KPMG and Price. It's a term thrown around all of the time. I sort of skimmed through the thread:) either way, if ya didn't know, now you know:)

Arthur Andersen's collapse after the Enron scandal.

Went from over 100,00 employees to just slightly over 200 employees. Almost all of their client, worldwide, bailed on them.

That's what I thought as well, although it's entirely possible I could be wrong. If so, my last post in the thread makes no sense.

I think I'll just stop there without comment.

Halliburton was given the contract to reconstruct Cheney's body. The budgeting office does not see a conflict of interest because they had the original contract back in the 1970s. That was from the Onion.
