Basically, they dont even have a clue of which they speak.:(

I have driven down to My Chapter for an 1 1/2 Meeting and it takes 2 1/2 Hours to get down.

I go to be with People that I have Ment and enjoyed 40 Years to be with. Or say this weekend at Homecoming I see and Meet 3 Brothers that I have either not seen or have ment.

Say if I just point out The many Brothers of LXA I have met on GC let alone the many other Members of Other GLOs.

I have never met a Brother who is a Member on Site who has refied My House and going to do it again.:)

As a GDI, what are they going to do when they graduate? Who do they know and who are they going to keep in contact with?

As a GDI, will they come back to Homecoming and why? For The School?

I go back to see Many Brothers that I have become close to over the years. I have seen their Familys Grow and go to College and are married.

Am I glad to see the Brothers that I bought and paid for, Damn Skippy. When You see Legacys and Familys that Joined LXA and get to see them, it is "something special"!

Just ask them what are they going to do in the after life of Post College. How many Friends that have something in common.

i just tell them it's like any other club.. you pay dues in order to do activities and go places and get gear. it just might be a little more because 1) you get a lot more than in most clubs, and 2) the more money you put into something the more likely you are to participate in everything in order to get your money's worth. at this point the lightbulb goes on and the naysayers go "ohhhhh...."

If they say "I don't have to pay people to be my friends", just say "Well I've seen your friends, and maybe you should."

So are your women and friends cheap or expensive?

No in all reality I really just ignore this question and I get it all the time.

I am active duty military and the officers that are greek are few and far between.

No one can really understand and the people that are asking this question don't really want to understand the "sisterhood" that I have with my girls.

They just want to find the negative things about it.

"I paid $3.62 per friend and it was money well spent."

-I pay for my friends, and I have more friends than you. But there is good news. You could save 15 percent or more by switching to Geico.

-Something's gotta pay for the beer.

-Why do you care? Are you jealous or something? Oh really? That's cool. Who are you again?

-Yep. I pay for my friends. I am rich and cooler than you.

and if all else fails, just beat them up.

Bobby, you are officially my hero!

I usually use the "If I paid for my friends, then I didn't pay enough" line, but now that I'm an alum, I also ask how many people THEY still keep in touch with from college!

Of course, you could always say to women, "I couldn't pass up the sale! It was like Prada at half the price!"
