Honeychile, I think that you can wear the same colors as her sorority or her bridal party. One thing though, my sister inadvertently wore a very similar dress as a bridal party a few years ago. Everyone kept confusing her as a bridesmaid including the photographer. It was pretty funny. They had great taste in dresses. :)

It's a hunter green velvet dress, with pink piping. It has a pink jacket, but I don't usually wear it with it. I know it sounds ugly, but it's just funky enough that I love it!

I don't see why that wouldn't be acceptable - just don't carry a purse with a turtle on it.

I like the smaller clutches with the detachable straps. My only concern is the pink color in the purse may not match pink in the jacket.
