 but this is America. You can do that if you want. At least they are not on any type of public aid. Can you imagine if the parents got a divorce? If I remember, the wife never worked outside of the home. |

Here in the Bible Belt, the daughter of a seldom-on-the-air talk show producer was denied admission to a "christian" pre-school, because her father worked (not talked) on the show of a loud-mouth talker, Kim Petersen.

I don't think her parents chose to break the homosexual rule of the school. That's like saying the child's parents chose to be homosexual. I know I didn't choose to be heterosexual. I didn't sit down and write a pro and con list about heterosexual and homosexual lifestyles and then chose.
The only thing they chose was to send their child to this school. Who knows if this was really a rule? All that was quoted was the superintendant's letter, not the school manual or handbook. |

As for that large family, that could be a family from my former church. I think they only have 13, though - the 14th died. One of my ancestors had 15, but there were 2 sets of twins. Her husband was in the Army, and filed for compensation for receiving a minie ball in the groin, "where it is still lodged, and causes excruitating pain at times." I tend to think his wife shot him, 'round about Kid #10!!! But back to the topic: I'm with Honeykiss & Rudey on this one - why enroll your child in a school where you KNOW you don't fit the qualifications? |
hijack
No kidding! I saw a show about them on TLC. Dude, enough already /end hijack I am still wondering why they would enroll her in this type of school knowing the administrations attitude. Quote:
