No kidding!

what ever happened to responsible journalism?! :p

They don't use cue cards on The Weather Channel. It is a very low budget organization (with the exception of the technology they have to buy -- graphics systems, etc.)

Basically, they're dealing with robotic cameras, no floor directors, no teleprompters, etc. All of the forecast stuff and interviews are ad-libbed.

Besides, who ever called a weathercaster a journalist? Ok, just kidding.

In any event, I'm not surprized that someone with a meteorology degree wouldn't know the Greek alphabet -- unless they belonged to a GLO in college.

Make 'em recite the Greek alphabet backwards three times fast, all while holding a lighted match! (Oh, waitaminnit... can't be encouraging hazing meteorologists! :D)

Considering what they put us through daily with their forcasts, a little hazing might be in order.

After all, they are 90% accurate -- 10% of the time!
