Hooiser why the racial loaded title? Honestly who cares if he's 'black'? It's a Congressman that appropriated men and material that could have been used to save lives - what does him being 'black' have to do with it?

Forgive me for being naive or just someone with her nose too far in her school texts. Where did it identify this congressman as black? I didn't read the article as hard as I would my test info for Friday. But I don't recall seeing anything in the article relating to his race.

On another note....this just makes me madder about politicians who abuse their "title" for their own gain. GRRR! Where to even start complaining about this jerk?

I hope this gets brought up in the news...nationwide. I am sick of everyone (including the 9/11 committee) commenting on what went wrong. How about we concentrate on fixing the problem instead of pointing fingers...

Why did the mod do that?

The mod did not delete a thread that was created saying America attacks blacks. It was left open for a couple days and then locked. But it's still here: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...threadid=70278 And there are many other examples like that.

This wasn't something that violated a single rule. The moderators in this forum should provide an explanation on why it was erased and what rule it violated.

Since us whities are being crucified for the NO tragedy, I felt a little news about how a black leader acted was justified.

(Example of whitie being blamed: Randall Robinson, a self-styled "social justice advocate," posted Sept._2:

"It is reported that black hurricane victims in New Orleans have begun eating corpses to survive. Four days after the storm, thousands of blacks in New Orleans are dying like dogs. No-one has come to help them.

"I am a sixty-four year old African-American. New Orleans marks the end of the America I strove for._._. .

"My hand shakes with anger as I write. I, the formerly un-jaundiced human rights advocate, have finally come to see my country for what it really is. A monstrous fraud.")

Like most charges of whites acting slow because most vicitim were black, Robinson (writing on the Huffington blog) is in error:

1 - no reports of canibalism
2 - no thousands dead (total in state to date less than 500)
3 - US is not a fraud, although Robinson clearly is.

uuuhhhh....because him being black had nothing to do with the topic.

and the other topic said nothing about america attacking blacks.
