LOL

This was a cute movie. I enjoyed it. The boy playing "Junior" cut the fool. :D

I think I used to own one of those "blouses" Sweetness was rocking. :o :p :D

When Bow Wow's little sister said, "I love him" at the skate off, I LMAO. It took me back to a time when my world was perfect and all that it took to satisfy me was some toys and cartoons.

Soror Kim, I wanted to go skating too but I know I can't do nan none of those tricks.

I was LMAO at the dad's pants. Had the pants pulled up so high, the waist was touching his nipples.

When Mike Epps asked if that woman had a Lustre Silk, I hollered.

My friend said Sweetness was like Prince on skates. LOL

You got me laughing so hard right now with the waist touching the nipples, but for real I was like damn why does he have his pants up so high.

They had to have given him a "frontal" wedgie. :o :p

I finally saw Roll Bounce this weekend and I loved it!!:D I get teary-eyed at everything and was crying my eyes out. My boyfriend thought I was crazy. Anyway I loved the music and knew every song. My only pet peeve was that they played EW&F's new song "Pure Gold" during the grown folks party and I know that song was not out in the '70s. Other than that, I can't wait for the DVD.

Your post just reminded of how I was looking forward to the release of the soundtrack. That is, until I went to the Roll Bounce website and saw names like Brooke Valentine, Ray J and Fabolous (I have to mentally spell his name :p ). :( :o

I think I will just buy the DVD instead. :)

Are you serious?????

I just came from the movies today and my comment as I was leaving the theatre is that I gotta have that soundtrack. Dang.

HTH are they gonna have those artists on the soundtrack of a movie set in the late seventies? None of the artists that you mentioned were even born in the seventies. Hollywood has lost its mind.

Boom_Quack13 10-03-2005 09:39 PM

BTW, great movie. Very nice, clean, and funny.

There are a couple of ol' school songs done by the original artists (Bill Withers, "Lovely Day", Kool & The Gang, "Hollywood Swingin' "), but you have some ol' school songs that have been "remade." I'm more of a "purist" :D and would have preferred a soundtrack with the songs sung by all the original artists. I hate soundtracks that are "based on" the movie rather than "from" the movie.

Ray J *blech* and Fabolous *double blech*(Ray J and Fabolous!?!?!?!). :(

I'm so late on this post. I went to see Roll Bounce with my 8-yr old daughter....big fun. She is in love with Bow Wow.

I just love Chi McBride and have since Boston Public. He's such a teddy bear.

Cute movie. I want to go roller skating on Saturday mornings now. The PTA hosted a skating party for the kids and I had the nerve to get out there....I was sore for 3 days! I keep forgetting I'm not in my 20's anymore. Ouch!

jitterbug13 12-08-2005 01:16 AM

I think it's coming out on DVD next week.
