Don't forget the hat and the khaki, and not to mention the fact that I was a neo at my first Boule'. Girl, I almost hurt myself!!! When I went back to campus that fall, let's just say EVERYBODY knew what sorority I belonged to. I wasn't tacky (after Boule'), but I can honestly say that I have owned just about every article of clothing, bookmark, keyring, umbrella, you get the picture... in SGRho.

Sports bottles was where a sister drew the line. My dad used to be into those with his company logo, and my mom's kitchen became a plastic wasteland. Let's just say that trauma stayed with me.

Fortunately, this year, I can handle myself better. Besides, I have to blend in with the South Beach crowd. :D

OK scratch that! I will not buy flip-flops, or shot glasses(they have our letters and crest on them :mad: )

I will admit that today I became the proud owner of a SGRho dog-tag, a compact umbrella, a mirrored key chain and reuseable stickers. I will go back and purchase:

A sorority charm for my gold necklace, however, I refused to buy these big poodle earrings! Let's just say that the poodles looked like they were under the influence of a psychoactive substance!:D

There are a couple of older sorors in my chapter who buy little stuff like socks, shoe laces and key chains for the newly inducted members, grad and undergrad. This little stuff may seem small and insignificant to some of us, but they become great gifts for neos.

Now for me, I basically draw the line on para if the colors are off. I've seen screaming yellow, faded blue, navy blue and dark tan.
