now i know this is not true for every man, but some men are just too lazy or insecure, or whatever, to even try to step to a sister who has her life figured out.

Some men can't or don't like to put up with the "hassle" of being with a strong black woman becasue she challenges him mentally

some men want the "good" woman only when they are ready to "settle down" after they have done all of their running around. (what makes them think that a "good" woman will want a man that has been around one too many times?)

There is NO BLACK MAN SHORTAGE. It's just that fewer bruthas are attending/graduating from college.

A man with a college degree was never on my list of prerequisites for dating. Most of the men I have loved did not graduate from college but they were very intelligent and articulate and smarter than I am in some things. I don't think there is a shortage of Black men period. Quality is a different matter, and it has nothing to do with a college education.
