I may be preaching to the pulpit here, but the most old-fashioned of people can pump up a profile to make you look more exciting! I once filled out one of those forms just for kicks, and the people loved it - one of the office people called me!

I'd take a good look at your profile, and figure out a way to make it enticing - but not misleading. Lying won't do you any good in the long run.

I think you've been given some pretty good advice here. If you think you're boring, chances are that it has come across in your profile and that's what's keeping the guys away.
Give your profile to a close friend to read i'm sure he or she will be able to help spice it up a bit.

Nobody else asked, so I will. Do you look hot in your picture?
good question.

And, is your photo readily available or are you hiding it in the backstage? If your photo is viewable at all time, you are supposed to get something like 7x more hits than a profile with no photo, or with a photo that is hidden.

If your photo has been up for a while, it may be time to change it (profiles can get stale) and also maybe get a few friends to critique your write up...those can grow stale too (not that men actually read the profiles....sigh)

I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing me talk about being old fashioned.
Does your profile state that you are "old fashioned"? I am gleaning from the context of your post that it does. If your profile says "old fashioned", I would take that out; most guys are gonna read "She doesn't put out", "She's gonna expect me to pay for everything", etc.

Sorry to be blunt (no, valkyrie, I'm not a Sagittarius!)
