I am 40 and have dated mainly men in their 40's. It's a different world out there when the "pool" are all people who are divorced, mostly with kids, or even 45 and never married when you've been married and have kids. We all have a whole lot more baggage!

THere is also that "dirty old man" type who like to ask out twenty-something girls. :eek: (Not that 40 is even close to old, but you know what I mean.)

I seriously did have a 46-year-old guy ask me out a few months ago. He was one of my customers. The thing I thought was terrible is that he KNEW that he was older than my DAD and still thought I would want to go out with him!!! :eek:

No offense AT ALL to older guys or single people with kids- but at this point I REALLY have no desire to go out with a guy who has kids who are closer to my age than he is. :(

I can't even remember the last time I went on an actual date. Maybe...2 years or so?

A date? What's that? HA! Just kidding, I guess the last "real" date was in January. But he was nice but that's about it. But before that I went a while. Men are hard to find in Oxford, MS that aren't married or taken or too young! Although, I'm almost 28 so I don't want to wait too much longer!
