Not so much offering advice, but I find the title of this thread unfair.

The actions you describe are unbecoming of any Greek organization -- local, national, or international. If this nationally-affiliated chapter is doing what you say they're doing, then it's a problem with *A* nationally-affiliated chapter, not with national chapters.

My sorority is the only NPC on a campus with 3 local sororities. They shit talk about us all the time, especially during rush. While we may be the largest sorority on campus, there's certainly more them than there are of us to cause trouble. That's why I find it hard to believe that this sorority is "terrorizing" the rest of you guys.

As others stated already, you really should get some proof before spouting off and accusing them of being responsible for what's going on. There isn't anything anyone on this board can do to stop the bad things going on -- you really need to enlist the aid of your school officials.

Our college does not have security cameras... anywhere on campus, footbal equipment is stolen, computers etc. and no one gets prosecuted because there are no cameras. Thanks for all of your insight ppl!!

OK - if offended ANYONE in a natioanl chapter SORRY but the reality of the situation is thats whats going on. I cannot make anyone see what we see everyday on campus and im not expecting anyone to. I just was looking ofr some advice SORRY

Also if other equipment around campus has been stolen, it doesn't not help your argument that the National group(s) is vandelizing.....though that may be your suspicion (sp)s, it hurts the credibility. You definitely need some proof and when you have it, report it. It doesn't matter who it is....they are potentially committing a crime and they should be held accountable for their stupidity!!!!

Another thing that can help deter anyone for vandalising/stealing from your property is motion sensor lights... They are not the much more expensive then standard outdoor fixture and you can place them in areas you may not always want light, but will quickly make events happening more noticable... Also they can sometimes lower insurance costs...

Is there any chance that your Exec Board could set up a meeting with the Exec Board of this sorority and maybe try to clear up the bad blood between you two?

It's just that since your school has such a small greek system, it would be best if you all could stick together; not mess with one another.

I dont think anyone here is belittleing your situatoin. It is just not fully understandable. I would be pissed as Hell. But, as has been said many times, it has to be Proved. You do that and it is dead bang!

Dont just make allogations, Prove it.

perhaps you should call campus security every single time you notice vandalism/ theft. if every house keeps calling when these things happen, the persons responsible are bound to be caught.
