I've got way too many to name, but some highlights?
First ever concert: Semisonic. The only reason we went was that we had gotten free tickets. Band I've seen the most times, not counting local bands because that would be cheating (isht, I've seen the Profits at least eight times this summer alone): Reel Big Fish (eight at last count?), which is funny since I haven't seen them in yeeeeeeears. We used to see them at least once a year at Summerfest for many years, though. Live show highlight: Seeing the Ataris in San Jose at age 16 -- dancing on stage with Kris Roe to "San Dimas High School Football Rules" is every teenage punk rock girl's dream. The weirdest combination of artists in one show: Everclear, Soul Coughing, and Redman. Totally surreal. Biggest names: Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. Always put on a good show: Motion City Soundtrack, Mason Jennings, Army of Freshmen (they put tons of energy into it and really get the crowd going). Almost got in catfights at: Save Ferris, John Mayer, the Starting Line. Hit or Miss: Appleseed Cast (once, they were fantastic; the second time, really blah). |
I've been to many concerts but nothing too major. I did however go to a BTE show the other weekend and I got to go backstage and hang, it was great. The only reason I got backstage was because a client of mine has a friend who knows the guys, or is married to one of them or something. I didn't get a chance to talk to them anyway but I got to drink and hang with hot womens!

My first concert ever was Run D MC with the Beastie Boys in Madison Square Garden. I was probably about 16 and a huge fight broke out. Very Scary. The Beastie Boys were sooooo nasty. My brother took me to the concert after convincing my parents that it would be ok. lol
Recently I saw Janet Jackson's All for You tour at the Garden, much calmer-she is an amazing performer. I have also seen Prince in concert at the Garden when I was in college (obviously I used to be a NYer) I have also seen a few Christian artists, my favorite of whom was Carman and that was in Philly. |
