I wouldn't suggest following up this early with it. It hasn't even been a week since you turned in the application!
I (and management) gets so annoyed when people call constantly to ask about their interview/application. Many times it is only one person who really knows and they are only there half of the week. Be patient! |
Serously, do NOT follow up with anything but a thank you before a week has gone by! It's REALLY irritating to HR people!!

Yeah I've been thinking about it. I turned in the application last Thursday, they called to schedule the interview on Saturday and I interviewed Monday. So a full week from the start of the process would be today which when she said she would call. I guess I just have to sleep on it and decide tomorrow how to proceed. |
So I ended up deciding to call and follow up this morning...my instinct told me it was the right thing to do.
So the women who interviewed me was busy so the person on the phone said she would call back. She called back 5 mintues later and said "Adrienne I'm so glad you called, we lost your application and couldn't find your number to call you so I am so glad you called because we want to hire you!" So I have to go to some class/orientation tomorrow, it's not the official training but a training for current employees so she asked me to come. ANyways thank you to everybody for your help and advice!!! |
