You obviously like him but are probably wondering whether to put him firmly in the "friend" category because he hasn't asked you out and you haven't asked him out either.

Why blow a possibly good thing?

Then he was asking me what kind of guys I like.

Later, a friend of mine came by the branch to make a deposit and she was saying that she couldnt believe i was still at this branch and was driving all these miles since my branch hadnt opened so the guy i like said "we wouldnt have it any other way!"

He also teased me about being reserved again because he was helping out a customer and she was asking me if any people call me certain nicknames and I was telling her some names people call me and he butted in saying "i call her reserved" because he knows i hate it.

So nothing really happened, and when I left I gave him a hug and he told me to come visit him at his new branch, and that he would go to my new branch (whenever it opens!) to give me a hard time. I then asked him if he still had my number and he said yes. Then this other co-worker heard me asking him that and he said "why does he have your number and I dont?" so the guy I like said "because im special!" and when I was leaving he was pretending he was crying- kind of joking around.

So I never told him to call me to let me know how his new job goes, and I did not ask him out- however if he did not bring my movies back to work today, I will have to call him and then I can play up my joke about him taking me out to lunch again.

I had my chance, and I didnt go for it. I have just never asked a guy out, and for some reason I was second guessing myself about him these last few days. I am just not sure if I like him like that, but I certainly want him as a friend. Hopefully he didnt bring the movies back and I can call him in a few days. Maybe that was his plan all along? ;)

I can only wish!

OMG i was thinking the exact same thing...maybe it's because I just saw an episode of Will and Grace but for some reason i was picturing the whole 'goodbye' scene with Jack as the guy! hahaha

Sorry, but the whole "holding on to the movies" thing is something a woman would do. Men just aren't that sneaky or complex. He has your number and said he'd visit your branch. Just wait and see.

I actually did ask him to go to a concert with me and on the way he said, "Hey I'm supossed to call my girlfriend and see if she wants to go with us." :eek: Was he completely clueless? Maybe, or maybe he just flirts with girls to make them like him and get his ego stroked a bit. Sounds like a flirt..........I don't know............

My first bf broke up with me, flirted his heart out for the next week, then told me he knew how much I wanted us to get back together, but he just didn't feel that way about me anymore, I needed to get over him, for my own sake :mad: :mad: :mad:

But in high school, I went out with a guy who later came out, it was quite embarassing, my mom kept telling me how I was the one that did it to him (at the end of the night, he'd asked me for a good-night kiss and I laughed, thinking he was joking :confused:.) It was alright though, he later admitted he wasn't really gay, it's just that all the gay guys at school get to hang out with a zillion girls and he wanted some action, perhaps trick a girl into thinking she had "turned him straight again."

I knew he was a pig, but then he had to go and prove it...

when I first met him, I thought he was gay- just because he is kind of soft spoken and just little things- he isnt very masculine or anything.

I dont know how or why I started to like him. Even one other guy at work was joking with him and asked him straight out if he was gay- of course he said no. I mean, he flirts with girls that go up to his window.... i dont know!

i guess we'll have to wait and see... i am going to tell my co-worker today that im going to miss him and that i thought he was so cute- we'll see what she says...

see.... i think that because I thought he was gay at first, and then i started to like him makes me question myself if I really do like him as a guy I would like to go out with, or just want to be his friend like I have also mentioned.

You all know that girls love having gay guy friends- well that is what i hear- i havent had a gay guy friend so I am just guessing. makes sense right? :rolleyes:

today after work I called him to see how his day went- it was kind of weird talking to him on the phone because we weren't that close, but he was surprisingly talkative and telling me about his day.

There were some pauses where he was done talking and wouldnt say anything. I told him I just called to see how his day went and if he wanted to keep his name plate he left at the branch. We only talked for about 5 minutes- i was somewhat nervous. He told me not to be a stranger- and that was about it. I just feel like I have sent him enough signals, and that if he was interested, HE would ask ME out!
