Firstly, chase and pursue are 2 completely different words, I think they've wrongly been used synonymously here, but we can fix that. And we're talking about pursuing a guy, not his penis. Why'd you bring that in, no one had brought up sex *cough*Freudian slip*cough* ;)

You need to stick to reading the bible. You know about as much of the mechanics of women chasing men and my post as you do about fornicating.

How's that for clarification?

Oh, it was just fine. It's really a shame, though, you could have at least pretended to have more maturity and intelligence. One would wonder why you're offended by a mere observation. But that's okay, making pathetic attempts to insult me by ASSuming you can size up my knowledge base only validates my view of you.

FYI: This is an "open" forum, not a "pick-and-choose" forum. If you don't want to hear comments on your words from everyone, be what they may, it might be in your best interest to keep it to yourself.

God bless you, honey, have a great day! :)

I just find it really hard to take anyone serious on the topic of sex that has a screen name title "christiangirl". And don't come at me with that 'god bless you, honey" bull shit after making an ill attempt to rip me one. You can take that preaching of yours back to the damn pulpit and speak to morons that'll actually listen to you. As for me, my ass will be burning in hell sharing a beer with Satan.

I persued the crap out of my boyfriend, but not without his reciprocation. Being younger than him (significantly so) put the responsibility on me, and it's worked out for almost 4 years.

WOW. That was so RIDICULOUSLY naive, I don't even know where to begin.

I've pursued a fair share of guys, but I think it was more physical than anything- most often when I'm on vacation or out at night. I guess I'm a traditionalist at heart. If a guy is interested in me, I'd definitely like him to do the pursuing.

Then again...with my last boyfriend, mom played matchmaker. (long story) He turned out to be really cool and we had some good times. Unfortunately he was a Philly guy here on assignment after the hurricanes.

I guess I'm open to meeting guys in any circumstance. I'll still give a number when the guy makes an impression on me, but overall, I like it when the guy pursues me :)

LightBulb 07-05-2005 03:59 AM

a mix of both

Of the three boyfriends I've had,

two made the first move in asking me out (I only went out with each of them for about three months).

I have been going out with my current boyfriend for what will be two and a half years as of July 11! I sort of made the first move in saying I liked him (high school!), but he had been flirting with me first. Seems to have worked perfectly. ;)

Never. And I never will.

I'm the chasee, never the chaser.

James 07-05-2005 10:08 PM

How do you let the guy you like him then? Assuming he hasn't made the first move yet?

I don't. If a guy is interested in me, he persues me. And then, if I'm interested, we have a match. If a guy isn't interested in the first place, nothing I can do can change that, and he'll only be after me for sex, not a relationship. So-- why bother... because I'm interested in a relationship.

Im guessing this girl is ridiculously hot... :p

Surprisingly, I prefer to be persued also. I just don't have the nerve to make the first move.

valkyrie 07-06-2005 09:47 PM

Could I just take a moment to flex my future English teacher muscles and mention, just for a second, that it is PURSUE? Thanks.
