Point Counter Point!

SS You do seem to be fighting as many of Your Posts have done.

I know That We have talked and would like to do it again! Soon at Your Call.

I am going through the same thing that you did, but what can I do any more than I have tried.:(

I just Hope that a Brother Will Be a Brother and Help Brothers!

Isnt that Why We are Whom We Are?

Hi Tom,

Some people do perceive a disagreement or a discussion as an arguement especially when it is difficult to find a middle point. However, I am very tolerant of such discussions and don't view such as an arguement until it crosses the line of personal attacks, fabricated facts, etc. Free flowing discussion and disagreements are a major part of my chosen field so I am able to distinguish and not take personal any comments or views which do not agree with mine.

Terminology

Come to think of it, I've even had non-greeks see my letters and innocently ask me if I'm in a sorority. Depending who it is, I don't even bother to correct them, because it just doesn't matter. If I were taking them along to the chapter house for the weekend, I would probably tell them, "don't call Lambda Chi a sorority..."

But usually, they're just ignorant, through no fault of thier own, as to how the greek system works. They've seen my letters and they're trying to get to know me by talking about something that's important to me. By correcting them, I might even hurt their feelings. What's the point?
