I was disapointed that "Luke, I am your father." didn't make the list. I thought for sure that was going to be on there. At least one quote from Star Wars made it.

Now that I think about it, I thought that "It's a Wonderful Life" had made the list. That is disapointing also.

I thought they did a great job on compiling the list however. Definitely a great mix of old and new movies.

I was upset that nothing from "It's A Wonderful Life" made it.

Also, "Luke, I am your father", is not the actual quote. I can't remember what it is, I'll have to watch the movie, but that's not it.

I thought the quote from Yoda should have made it "There is only do or not do, there is no try". or another from Casablanca which I thought should have made it. I don't remeber the exact quote but it's along the lines of "if you don't get on that plane, you're gonna regret it. maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life."

Hahaha, yeah I just got to that quote. I'm reading the list myself, but I'm not done yet. there are some great quotes on list. I was saying last night that "they call it a royale with cheese" should have made the list. It made the top 400 thought.

Close. He never says "Luke". He just says "I am your father".

I don't know why we all think he says "Luke, I am your father, but I remember it the same way too. I had to go back an watch the movie to hear him say it.

Oh, well, still not even the best line in the series:

LEIA: I love you.
HAN: I know.

Hahaha. I love Han. Harrison Ford is so sexy.

Some of these quotes seem random and in the wrong order.

I always love the AFI specials. The last one with the 100 greatest movies like back in the fall was great too!
