I have the crown pearl Phi with garnet points. She's already been used once to pin one of the new members at my chapter! :D

Here she is!

PS - This is the all-diamond Phi badge:

And I think this would be uber-bling in white gold with ALL diamonds!

Thanks for posting the directions. I have a Macintosh (no right clicks!) but, I'm sure there's a way. I'll experiment with what you told me to do later and see if it works on my computer.

:D

That's right, Jill... a girl can never have too much bling!

blueangel 06-17-2005 10:31 PM

Kelly,

I LOVE your badge! I love the red garnets. As much as I like diamonds, I like yours better, because the letters get lost on the all-diamond badge. And, besides.. red is a lucky color!

Beautiful badge, Kelly! How pretty!

I've been drooling over the KD badges, and can't wait until I get to order mine.

You gotta rock the white gold with diamonds and emeralds! If you're looking for bling, that's the way to go. Last convention they had a display of all of them... man was everyone drooling over that one!
Def. don't get the standard one, they redesigned them when we switched jewelers and put that weird border which I think is hella ugly. Thankfully I got my standard pin before that mess started. But I'm not even totally sure of where my standard pin is now... it's around somewhere.
You may want to find a nice one on ebay, or you may want your own, which is understandable. I bought a blinging one set in a pendant on ebay right after I graduated. My only complaint is that it's gold and I never wear gold anymore.
Maybe i'll have to get another one! Lol, i'll be starting my own badge collection.

maybe someday I'll have a blinging badge too.....

I really love the emerald and pearl badge...My hubby teases me b/c even though I was born in April, I much prefer emeralds and pearls to diamonds. Although I don't say no when he gets me a pretty rock!!

I am constantly looking on ebay now. So...you guys help me keep an eye out for one!

I have a Macintosh and I can do a right click. The issue isn't so much about having a Macintosh, it's about whether or not your mouse has two buttons (mine does and both buttons do the same thing).

Here is what you do with a Mac with a one button mouse (or a mouse with two buttons where only the left one works):

1. go to the site which has the photo
2. click on the photo and hold - a menu will pop up
3. select "Copy Image Location" (it will copy the picture's URL)
4. come to gc and open a new message
5. click the IMG button (above the message area)
6. paste the URL you copied
7. post the message

I hope this helps!

"Kelly, I LOVE your badge!"

"Beautiful badge, Kelly! How pretty!"

"That is truly one of the prettiest badges I have ever seen!"

Awww....you all are so sweet! Believe me, the first badge you ever have will always be the most beautiful in your own eyes. It's always nice to hear that others appreciate it too. I'm not a badge collector, but I think that badges are like little works of art.

Trojangal, I'll have to try and remember to bring it for you to see next week! I remember when I was at one of the GreekChat gatherings in London, UKAXO brought in Tri Sigma and AXO badges for us to see. They were pretty!

This is a pretty one! Was this the one on your stuffed animal, Janet? :D

My computer is a Macintosh laptop. The "mouse" is built in, and just a touch pad. I'll fiddle with it. I'm sure there's a way to do it. :)
