Were you surprised by how many of the VA Beach schools were on the list? Every school that I ever had the slightest chance of attending was on the list so maybe I'm just used to excellence. :D |
This list has always been crap, it's purely based upon something like "# of AP tests taken per student". We offer a butttttload of APs...go figure.
#113 Torrey Pines HS. I've always hated my hs :] We were #73 two years ago. Whoops. Actually it says we were 110 last year, I totally remember us stupidly boasting we were #73 or 75 in the nation a while back. Whatever. |

I went to Granite Hills HS in El Cajon, CA and we're not on the list. Big surprise. There's a reason they call it Hell Cajon. |

Looks like my school Whitney Young Magnet HS made the list. I am not surprised but I am surprised at the #.

Because it's hotter than hell there? I don't know how many schools in the SE San Diego community get awards, I just loved being a part of the Poway Unified before HS and the buttttload of awards they got every year. :]

Good link! I'll have to forward this to my younger siblings/cousins in high school.
I am disappointed though because there is not a single school from the area I grew up in on the list. |
My high school is on the list!!! Woodrow Wilson Senior High School - Washington DC - #343!!! Go Tigers!
