I just started season 2 after being convinced. So in love!

So glad this thread got bumped! I'm eagerly anticipating the 50th anniversary special on 11/23 (an early birthday present for me ;) ) and I'm interested to see the new 12th Doctor.

I love the new series, but classic Doctor Who is not to be overlooked.

Just met Martha. I almost cried at the Norwegian beach scene with Rose and the Doctor.

The new Doctor was presented in a special a few weeks ago. Curious to see the special in November!

The 12th Doctor won't be in the 50th Anniversary in November - but John Hurt (8.5th Doctor) will be. Peter Capaldi won't be seen (probably) until the Christmas episode. But then again, who knows with Moffat!

I did cry. Billie Piper acted her ASS off.

Is anyone else trying to catch up before the Day of the Doctor?

DH is obsessed with Doctor Who! It's not my typical thing to watch honestly...I'm not a SciFi person.

We're having a viewing party at my house on Saturday. DH rented a 70" tv to watch it on and he wants to go all out with Doctor Who themed stuff. It's kinda driving me a little crazy lol.

I am so looking forward to the 50th anniversary special. :D

It's taking me a long time to get into the Matt Smith episodes. There's nothing wrong with them per se, but there is absolutely no connection to the previous seasons except for the TARDIS. New Doctor, new companion..... and dare I say even new camera angles. And of course, this is when the EP/head writer changed.

It's like watching a reboot of the entire series.

I may skip the rest and just watch the Day of the Doctor.
