Awww, thank you again ladies! Tiernan is 2 weeks old today, but it feels like we've had him forever! Mr. Bunny and I are enjoying every minute that we spend with him. Tiernan and I are still adjusting to nursing, as it's a difficult and sometimes painful process.

Mr. Bunny and I have moved up our wedding date to November 5th of this year, giving us 2 months to plan everything. We're not going for anything big since we did everything backwards and had the baby first :). I found my dress today. Bought it off the rack at the local bridal store. It was a Maggie Sottero sample that had never been tried on before. So, it's not much different from ordering it and having it shipped here. The Maggie site doesn't allow bandwidth sharing, so for those who really want to see it, the dress is at www.maggiesottero.com, and it's called "Ella."

If you are 2 weeks into nursing and it's painful, there's something not quite right -could be a bad latch or possibly thrush. Need to resolve either item immediately as there's a growth spurt about to happen and if nursing is too painful now, it's going to get worse and you don't want that, lol.

Feel free to email me offline - we had a rough start to our nursing relationship, too, but it did work out well in the end (Avner self-weaned shortly after he turned two). Breastfeeding is a natural process, but learning how to do it is not!

I apologize for being so scarce around here, but new mommyhood and moving have had me in quite a tizzy for the past few months! We now reside in New York with Punkin' and are trying to get things together here. It's difficult being away from the support of my family, but I'm managing. Nursing didn't turn out so well, as Ty had a bad suck reflex and was not a happy camper. To this day I hate to give him formula, but pumping exclusively was not an option. So anywho, our lil man will be 6 months old (!!!) on February 8th. I have some pictures to post, and the link to find dozens more of them. I hope to not be such a stranger from now on, but we'll see how it goes!
