Hi, ladies! I know I haven't been around but things have been hectic! For starters, I'm preggers again! I MUST be crazy! I'll be having a Thanksgiving baby this time! We'll find out on Wednesday what 'it' is, and hopefully I'll have my own little legacy.

Bumping for some prayers.....

Please keep my little Laura in your thoughts tonight. Her father passed away earlier this week (i believe unexpectedly) and the funeral is tomorrow afternoon. She is getting married in September and unfortunately was not seeing eye to eye with him lately so i'm not sure how she is dealing with this.


On a good note though, little #3 called and told me she is engaged, making that 3 out of the 4 littles that are now getting married. They are leaving their big in the dust since I'm not even close to that yet...but I'm so happy for all of them.

GOOD NEWS!!!!

I got another long term position. I'll be a Kindergarten teacher for 3 months starting at the end of February and going till the end of the year! I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time. I think I have a pretty good class, just a couple behavior issues but nothing serious. YAY!

Andrea! That's fantastic! Crazy, but fantastic! It takes a special person to put up with little ones! I'll stick with my 5th graders! haha, you will have a fantastic time though, and hopefully learn a lot. Is this at the same school that you were at for your last position? Yay! I'm excited for you!

No actually it is at the school I went to when I was growing up. Same district.......but closer to my house than the last one.

CJ....My family will be heading back down towards Topsail in mid to late July....it would be awesome if we could meet up again or if you and Chris (if he's in town) would want to come back down again. Let me know what you think!

I'm in a good mood today so I'm going to brag a bit on myself :p

I'm now Foundation chair of our alum group-collecting labels, doing Hannah's handbag, and finding charity events for us to go to ( and hopefully later on, volunteer at). On the 18th, a bunch of us are going to the Prevent Blindness NC Night Vision benefit-which should be alot of fun. i'm hoping we can do some volunteer work with them as well.

Also, in June, about 5 of us from the alum group, our spouses, and one girl's family are heading over to Ireland for 10 days!!! And I've talked my husband into us flying over in Business class instead of Coach!!! Woo hoo!! I'm so excited, I wish it was next week. :D

P.S. congrats to all you teachers-we need you, and god knows, I could never do it!!
