I know, honey, I was angry at him at first (I don't know why I am assuming it is a him but I am going to go with that ) but my mother always told me that anyone that has to resort to swearing must not have a good vocabulary and to attempt to discuss anything in a rational manner is a waste of valuable time and grey matter.
So, I wisely decided not to respond to him. I mean I doubt he is reading Greekchat but if he is then maybe he will learn how to express himself without being vulgar, so as to allow people who may or may not disagree with him to respond with the same respect that he gives his readers. (and just so I am clear again his "links" are very lopsided and not fact like he thinks) |

Only thing I give you southerners are hot southern white chicks with hot southern accents. I'll take that over a kamoto any day. ETA: oh yeah, and I doubt the south has many Pho Shizzle places. Pho Sho. I'm out |
Hey to me most of y'all are the "South" ;)
I'm guessing this guy would be what you'd call an "angry liberal"? |

Funny. That's how I feel about northern accents.

I've got mixed feelings about the South, having half-grown up in Tallahassee, but the one thing I DO enjoy is the weather. My sister in Boston has like the world's largest collection of winter coats and that's just not for me.
Although when the temperature hits 117 what with humidity and all, it kinda makes you change your mind. My solution? Spend Sep-Apr in the south, and then head to the Adriatic for the rest of the summer to cool down=) |

Me. Born and raised in NJ. Atlanta is the best place I've ever lived so far. |
Oh. Me too. Minneapolis, Washington DC, and NYC. Oh and Denver.

But if you haven't been to heaven on earth yet, try Makena on Maui, Kalihiwai on Kauai, or Haleiwa/the North Shore on Oahu. |
personally, i love living in the south. i definitely wouldnt mind going north for a while, but i'm positive i'd end up back down here. maybe not here in arkansas, but definitely somewhere in the south.

"Almost Heaven, West Virginia."
Whomever spoke these words has never visited the upper end of the Kanawha valley. Would you all consider WV northern or southern? (Kinda off topic) |
Born and raised on the Mason/Dixon line. So some folx think I am from the south, others say I am from the north.
But having lived in Minnesota 30+ years, there is no question now that I am a northerner. :) |

West Virginia is kind of in that backwater, redneck, trashy part of the east coast. Its where all the people with no money go snowkiing during the winter months because they cant afford Colorado, Montana or Utah. People there live in actual tracktor trailers instead of "mobile homes". Ive even seen people there living in school buses. Almost every 10th person I'd talk to that was from there was missing teeth. Most of the people there are fat and listen to 90's Billy Ray Cirrus type of country music mixed in with a little Lynardskinner, Def Leopard, Motley Crue and Nelly. They think only gay people listen to Electronic Dance Music (house, trance, break-beats, drum-n-bass or progressive) and they have only one university that only half the people out there can name.....WVU. Not to mention the school is only known for its cokewhores, binge-drinking and shitty football team. So, I'd say its northern. :D |

** I have to say that West Virginia is part of the North, because it's the one state which CHOSE to be part of the North. Which is not to say that it doesn't have some beautiful areas, especially if you're into rock climbing & such. Of course, since my brother was in one of the "Wild & Wonderful West Virginia" commercials as a climber, and is written up for naming & pioneering many of the climbs, I'm somewhat forced to say that! |
