ok now i only expect 3 other people to get this

everyone at the Pike house watches this show RELIGIOUSLY...funny because we don't understand a thing they are saying and there is only one Filipino in the house, and he can't even translate what they are saying most of the time. i guess we just watch it for the hot Filipino chicks.

I hate the Filipino Channel. It controls my house.

Ok, the picture didn't show cause it's hosted by tripod? What show are you talking about?

In high school, I dated a white girl who seemed to be enthralled whenever my mom would watch Mara Clara or Esperanza......needless to say it didn't last long..

i hate the filipino channel. everything was parental advisory...i was waiting for a naked chick to pop up or something. talk about anti-climatic.

my mom's friends are always telling me to go the the Phillipines to be an actress because there's a lot of mestizas. I don't know a lick of Tagalog or any other Filipino language.

My mom's fluent in Tagalog, Ilocano, and Visayan. I have limited conversation in Ilocano even though I was raised in a predominantly Ilocano household. Still, if you speak to me in either Tagalog or Ilocano, I can respond, but it'll be in English.

Ilocano and Tagalog are both taught at UH-M, but I never had the time to take the classes.

Wait, I do know some things:
(I don't know how to spell them though)
boy = lalalake
girl = babaey

that's it. lol

The Filipino girls I knew always put out real good.

i know a bunch of americans that eat pho 3-4 times a week, especially on their lunch break. i havent had it in a long time. however, when i go home to visit my parents, my mom usually makes pho just for me. at the restaurant i usually get the meat ball pho. the chicken and duck pho is good too. yummy.

HotDamnImAPhiMu 03-21-2005 04:03 PM

oh. Speaking of. So usually at Thai resturants I get pad thai. But my brother brought home this AMAZING dish last night. I ate his leftovers. It was noodles, but they were flatter and wider. It was pad (something) but I can't for the life of me remember what! There was broccoli mixed in, and the whole dish was a little darker than pad thai is. Any idea? I'm dying to have it again, and stupid brother isn't picking up the phone at work.

Spelling may be wrong, but that's Ped Tai, which is another great noodle dish. One of the few meals with tofu I'll eat.

Pad Thai is awesome. Especially Chicken Pad Thai.

Makes me want to eat at Keo's now.
